The Prince of Chumphon, a son of King Rama V. Prince of Chumphon established the modern Thai navy and is respected by all naval personnel, fishermen, and others in the marine industry. His picture can be seen in many of the homes in Chumphon. |

You can walk on the mangrove forest nature trail and islands. Long-tail boats can be rented here for visits to the offshore islands. |

Suwan-Khooha- Waree – Wong Temple or local people call Wat Tham Phong Phang is located at the western of Thung Makham Bay. The atmosphere in the temple is natural. In front of the temple close to the sea and behind the temple is the cliff of the cave. |

Point 1 |
Nong Yai - Chumphon residents hold the project dear not for its scenery nor its flood-protection function, but rather for the late King Rama IX’s visit there and his relentless attempts to safeguard the city against a raging massive storm 20 years ago. |

Point 2 |
The museum is open to the public 9.00 am-4.00 pm from Wednesday to Sunday. The entrance fee is 30 baht per person. Chumphon National Museum has exhibits such as: Chumphon Today, History of Chumphon, Chumphon during the World War II, and Typhoon Gay that devastated the area in 1989. |
